Our Standard food grade of potassium sorbate is compliant with food regulations worldwide. With excellent water solubility, Nutrinova® Potassium Sorbate is the preservative of choice for a wide range of food and beverage products.

Nutrinova® Potassium Sorbate BFX Granules

Nutrinova® Potassium Sorbate BFX Granules is easy to work with and the preservative of choice for aqueous based detergent formulations with pH ≤ 7. It is a non-skin sensitizing preservative, suitable for “H317 label free” liquid detergent cleaning products, especially:

• Hand dishwashing liquids
• Fabric conditioners
• Acidic hard surface cleaners

Nutrinova® Potassium Sorbate BFX Granules is a special grade developed to be compliant with the European Biocidal Product Regulation (BPR) for product type 6 for in-can preservative and with the US EPA conditions for a minimum risk pesticide.

In the European Union Nutrinova® Potassium Sorbate BFX Granules is authorized in the majority of EU countries for use as in-can preservative (PT6) in washing and cleaning products, and in polymer emulsions in compliance with the European Biocidal Product Regulation (BPR).

In the USA, Nutrinova® Potassium Sorbate BFX Granules is included on the Minimum Risk Active Ingredient list according to the EPA {40 CFR 152.25(f)}, meets all of the US EPA conditions, and is exempted from regulation under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). However, States may require registration under state laws.

Nutrinova® Potassium Sorbate BFX Granules is considered a nature-identical preservative and is compliant with European ecolabels such as COSMOS, Nordic Swan and EU Ecolabel for detergent cleaning products. In the US it is CleanGredients listed and compliant with the US Safer Choice label.

Nutrinova® Potassium Sorbate NXT

Nutrinova® Potassium Sorbate NXT is the preservative of choice for personal care and cosmetic products with a high water content such as body washes, shampoos and conditioners, mouth washes, creams, lotions and wet wipes. Nutrinova® Potassium Sorbate NXT is a special grade compliant with the EU REACH regulation, which applies to personal care and cosmetics, industrial applications and certain agricultural applications such as fertilizers. Considered a nature-identical preservative, Nutrinova® Potassium Sorbate NXT is compliant with European eco-labels such as COSMOS, ECOCERT, NATRUE, BIDH and EU-Ecolabel for personal care and cosmetic products.

Nutrinova® Potassium Sorbate Pharma

Nutrinova® Potassium Sorbate Pharma meets the requirements of the Ph. Eur, the USP and other national Pharmacopoeias. It is the preservative of choice for pharmaceutical products where water solubility is important, such as creams and lotions, liquid preparations, nasal drops/sprays etc.
